NewsIPEXAt IPEX we will show our software for bindery controllers, as well as some of the ink jet printers we are controlling. The printers that will be on our stand are a Kodak 5640, 4” width ink jet printer, a Videojet BX6500 of 2” width and a HP M4000, also with 4” width printing capabilities. Samples of the print quality are for you to collect on our booth. We are proud to announce our latest product to our product portfolio. The print inspection INTRO DocControl is a modular designed image processing system for inspecting printed products. Beside an image comparison for detecting deviations of the live image compared to a pre-trained golden reference, it can decode various properties like barcodes, data matrix codes and OCR fonts and match the results to given data. This ensures a complete and controlled production. Misprints resulting by ink jet printers (streaker, missing dot) will be detected automatically and can cause the activation of an alarm, up to a machine stop. The modular design of software and hardware enables the adaption of the system to the specific application. Product widths of 330 up to 980 mm and a machine speed of over 300 m/min are supported. Blackware MailGuard 8600 now in packaging industry! Blackware just sold a numbering application on a packaging web application on high speed. The customer is one of the largest packaging companies with several production locations around the world. With a maximum of 8 Videojet Excel 170 printheads number will be applied on tobacco packages. |
