Blackware BV is an innovative software development company, in the development, producing, selling and maintaining track & trace systems for production companies in the graphic industry, security print industry, packaging industry and pharmacy. We provide complex projects for its customers based on turnkey solutions at home and abroad. There is a need for a software engineer within the team which deals with the development of our PLC controls.

As a Senior Software Engineer you independently develop PLC controls and HMI applications and you deal with software issues in production environments. You are technically responsible for the correct execution of the software work of large and small projects. You are innovative and you actively contribute to the new developments. The tasks include both assembling and testing our systems and installing of the systems at our customers. You report directly to the department manager and / or project manager. Together with them you are responsible for planning monitoring, project scope, technical coordination and project completion. Work takes place both internally in the office as on location with customers during commissioning.

Competences

• Broad technical knowledge in the field of IT, electrical engineering and electronics

• In possession of a B driving license

Education and experience

• Completed HBO or WO education in industrial automation or electrical / electronic control technology
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer in industrial automation
• Knowledge of and experience with programming PLC systems such as ao. Siemens S7, B&R and / or Beckhoff
• Knowledge and experience with industrial networks such as Profibus, Profinet, ASi, Modbus and / or Ethercat
